The lecture series is open to the public, but please remember to register.
Presenter: Carol A. Dean AKBD, CAPS, MBA
Carol A. Dean will present on the development of her universal design kitchen and bath course at the Boston Architectural College (BAC), and how it enhanced her understanding of her clients, designers, and the design process. Students from her first class at the BAC--Alyssa Haggerty, Donna Penn, and Susan Hayward--will discuss their own design process: learning about the families, developing the design, and providing solutions for family members based upon their individual needs.
A graduate of the Kitchen and Bath Certification program at Boston Architectural College, Carol holds an AKBD accreditation from the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Carol also has a Master's in Business Administration from Boston University. Her background in business and management brings a unique perspective to design--exceptional service through collaboration and a focus on quality.
