 Anoopa Sundararajan

Anoopa is a recent graduate from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago where she obtained a Dual Degree in Applied Mathematics and Psychology. Having been born and raised across the globe, in India, Kenya, Bahrain, Dubai and Chicago, she believes strongly in the value of cultural diversity and diversity of thought. Anoopa discovered her passion for inclusive design through a research project where she and a team of students worked with the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, surveying the museum’s accessibility for elderly patrons and persons with disabilities. At the Institute for Human Centered Design, she will be engaged in a wide range of projects from field analysis of existing conditions to leading and collaborating on contextual inquiry research projects and initiatives. She will also assist in the development and management of data collection systems for IHCD’s contextual inquiry research with user/experts and analyze all commonly used data-gathering software to evaluate the potential for streamlining data for research.
