Christopher “Tripp” Lyons is a rising junior at Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. As a disabled political science major, Tripp has committed himself to the work of improving accessibility for all abilities. As a Student Ambassador for the Office of Accessibility, Tripp has advocated for the rights of disabled members of the university community.

Beginning in the fall, Tripp will be leading a disability awareness and activism campaign for Fairfield University. As part of this campaign, Tripp will be focusing on the attitudinal barriers that students with disabilities face. The project includes awareness events like disability lectures, panel discussions, and training programs for professors on best practices to accommodate students with disabilities

Tripp plans to attend law school and be a disability rights attorney. He is excited about the opportunity to assist in research projects related to the ADA and looks forward to learning about the great work that the New England ADA is doing.
