James is a recent graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Industrial Design program and a previous intern. Having had a family member be diagnosed with a fatal illness, James grew up with an eye for universal design principles, and has put this ability to work at IHCD.
Passionate about the intersections of ability, technology, and contextual inquiry, James has been part of many projects that cover a wide variety of topics. These include curating top-notch designs for exhibition, user/expert reviews of built environments, developing software interfaces to be used in the field, and assisting with the day-to-day deliverables as part of the team.
In his spare time, James is an amateur chef, and has a habit of bringing in his latest creation to share with the staff. His other interests include technology, classic cars, world culture, and researching the inspiring work of fellow designers.
