Jeremy Myerson steps down from RCA’s Helen Hamlyn Centre

Professor Jeremy Myerson is stepping down from his role at the Royal College of Art’s Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design, which he co-founded in 1999.

Myerson is founding editor of Design Week and co-founded the HHC with Roger Coleman with a remit to focus on inclusive design to improve people’s lives.

Justice Department Reaches Settlement with National Museum of Crime and Punishment to Improve Access for People with Disabilities

The Department of Justice announced today that it has reached a settlement with the National Museum of Crime and Punishment (Crime Museum) to address alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  The settlement agreement resolves allegations that some of the Crime Museum’s programs, exhibits and facilities were not accessible to people with disabilities.

HUD Charges Brooklyn CO-OP with Discriminating Against Disabled Veteran

The Nordic Journal of Architectural Research has a call out for articles on Universal Design in relation to a planned these issue on Universal Design. The journal publishes articles in both English and Nordic languages.
