The International Disability Alliance (IDA)[1], as the most authoritative representative voice of persons with disabilities, has issued a statement Calling for the Global Sport Community to Promote the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).

Justice Department Reaches Settlement with National Museum of Crime and Punishment to Improve Access for People with Disabilities

The Department of Justice announced today that it has reached a settlement with the National Museum of Crime and Punishment (Crime Museum) to address alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  The settlement agreement resolves allegations that some of the Crime Museum’s programs, exhibits and facilities were not accessible to people with disabilities.

HUD Charges Brooklyn CO-OP with Discriminating Against Disabled Veteran

Nordic Journal of Architectural Research call for papers on Universal Design in Architecture

The Nordic Journal of Architectural Research has a call out for articles on Universal Design in relation to a planned these issue on Universal Design. The journal publishes articles in both English and Nordic languages.
