Designing for the Severely Handicapped

The design studies which follow cover the main stages of education for children who are severely handicapped, and although they refer specifically to all-age day schools, many of the proposals may be relevant to other types of provision for the education of the severely mentally handicapped. Solutions and helpful discussions are also offered.
