Spring 2023 Intern
Maya is in her final semester of the MGH Institute of Health Professions’ Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program and is expected to graduate in May of 2023. Prior to graduate school, Maya completed her Bachelor of Science in Health: Science, Society, and Policy at Brandeis University. During her time at MGH IHP, she has completed two full-time fieldwork rotations at an inpatient hospital and a special education school. She also completed a research project on how universal design promotes children’s participation in outdoor play spaces. She is excited to complete her Advanced Doctoral Experience as an intern at the Institute for Human Centered Design.
