She continued her education in Boston and is now a third-year student pursuing a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Charlestown, Massachusetts. Dafna has had various clinical experiences, allowing her to work with diverse populations in various settings. Throughout graduate school, she has deepened her passion for advocacy, inclusive design, accessibility, and assistive technology. During graduate school, Dafna’s research examined how public transportation disproportionately affects adults with motor disabilities. She is looking forward to the experience of working with expert users at the Institute for Human-Centered Design and gaining the knowledge and skill set to design, consult, or re-design environments to be more inclusive for individuals of varying ages, cultures, and backgrounds.
