The Natural Environment and Human Development: Implications for Handicapped Children in Urban Settings

This paper has been prepared as a resource for participants in the symposium-fair, Children Nature and the Urban Environment held on May 19 through May 23, 1975 in Washington DC. It was prepared in the hope that participants be constantly mindful of the fact that fully 15% of nation's children and youth are afflicted with some form of handicapping condition.
