Join us on November 8th to celebrate World Usability Day! We will be taking to the streets of Boston to challenge the city's user-centered designs. A scavenger hunt style event will give participants a chance to discover how Boston is (or is not) designed for individuals of all abilities. Teams will be paired with a user/expert to help spot examples of good (or not so good) design around the city. User/experts have gained an expertise by living in an environment that poses challenges due to physical, cognitive, or sensory functional limitations.
If you are a user/expert looking to help out at this event, please let us know by contacting Theresa McSorley at tmcsorley@ihcdesign.org or calling IHCD at (617) 695-1225.
The event will be launching from 290 Congress St, Boston MA. Pizza and beverages will be served at 5 pm. The scavenger hunt will start at 6 pm. At 7:30 pm, a winning team will be decided, and discussions and dessert will follow.
