Diana Rucinski is currently a senior Interior Design major, with a marketing minor, studying at Suffolk University. Growing up in Milltown, New Jersey, she has a passion for traveling and studied abroad in Florence, Italy, and also went to Amsterdam, Madrid, and South Africa. After taking a class her sophomore year about human factors and inclusive design, Diana has begun implementing these concepts into her work since. She grew up always surrounded by her family, and especially her grandfather, who has been on crutches since he was 18, and eventually got his leg amputated when he was 78. This was an eye-opening experience and gave her first hand experience of the difficulty navigating the world can be for someone who has mobility issues. In Diana's free time, she enjoys reading and playing on the Suffolk University Softball Team.
