Tailored Programs
IHCD seeks to share its perspective and expertise through a wide range of tailored options in the US and globally. We work with clients, colleagues and collaborators to design lectures, trainings, participatory events, international forums and conferences on particular topics for specific audiences.
IHCD presents at various US and international conferences for keynotes, panels, and charrettes.
General + Ongoing Educational Opportunities
We also provide a range of general and ongoing offerings:
- Monthly Lunch & Learn events in our headquarters featuring local, national and global leaders sharing their work.
- Lectures and participatory learning for students including undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate @ IHCD or on-site in academic institutions.
- Collaborating to bring inclusive design to Boston’s annual HUBweek celebration of its distinct brand of innovation.
- IHCD welcomes a diverse annual range of interns, co-op students, and fellows. Many involving ongoing annual collaborations (e.g., Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore), MGH School of Allied Health Professions, Fulbright). Throughout the year, IHCD thrives on passionate and enthusiastic interns and volunteers who share our vision and welcomes global inquiries. IHCD is particularly interested in welcoming interns with personal experience of a functional limitation. Contact our Executive Director Valerie Fletcher at vfletcher@ihcdesign.org
