Eva Peet is an Inclusive Design Researcher at IHCD who is passionate about inclusive and participatory design for a more equitable world. After her Bachelors in Industrial Design Engineering she obtained dual Master degrees in Design for Interaction and Strategic Product Design at the Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands. In her graduation project on youth participation in the energy transition she took a participatory approach, involving over 160 stakeholders, including youngsters from a variety of backgrounds, in 15 co-creation sessions. After graduating she stayed on at Delft University of Technology as a Design Researcher to write a research paper on her graduation project, focusing on participatory approaches for transition design. Before joining IHCD she further developed her co-creation skills as an Innovation Strategist at the strategy design consultancy firm Elemental, crafting impactful strategies and concepts for clients such as WWF and the Rainforest Alliance.
In design and research, Eva loves exploration and learning, leveraging both her analytical skills and empathy to dive into the heart of a design challenge. Driven and well-structured, she thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments that keep her on her toes. She strongly believes in visualization to enhance understanding, and enjoys communicating ideas visually and verbally. Besides design research she loves playing the harp, dancing and hiking in the beautiful areas around Boston.
