Morgayne is the Americans with Disabilities Act trainer, Information and Outreach Coordinator for IHCD. As a blind woman, she has dealt with various types of discrimination, and she understands the role of the ADA in protecting the rights of people with disabilities. Morgayne recognizes the need for greater education and outreach, to achieve increased compliance, and to improve lived experiences for people with disabilities. Morgayne graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 2018 and has dedicated her legal career to civil rights and social justice. Prior to joining IHCD, Morgayne worked for the City of Boston as a Fair Housing Investigator and as an investigator and outreach project leader for Suffolk Law School’s Housing Discrimination Testing Program. Morgayne volunteers as the chair of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Civil Rights and Social Justice Section Council.
