Mobile Homes: Alternative Housing for the Handicapped

The purpose of this research project was to determine if mobile homes could successfully provide independent living for people with disabilities. Adapted housing provides both a place to live, in which even a severely disabled person can look after himself independently, and independence itself which provides the freedom to accept jobs, establish personal relationships, and control the pattern of his own life.
