Older Neighbors: Aging in Eastern Massachusetts

This book is intended to be a tool to understanding Eastern Massachusetts elderly population today, and a predictor of what the next decade will bring. It focuses both the implications of care giving and the effects of ageing and social policy on the individual and his/her family. The areas of race and ethnicity, geographic distribution, migration, marital status, living arrangements, income, poverty, housing, employment, education and health are considered in detail.
