We invite you to our day-long open house focused on Inclusive Design on SoWa's First Friday, May 3rd. This event marks IHCD's expanded educational commitment, aiming to impart impactful insights through shared stories and lived experiences.
Attendees will delve into comprehensive programming led by staff and industry experts, fostering a deeper understanding and application for Inclusive Design in the built environment. The centerpiece of the event is our fully accessible Media Studio, strategically located within the library, providing an ideal space for discussions and learning.
The day will be centered around our fully accessible Media Studio, strategically placed in the library, offering a unique space for knowledge exchange. Live and virtual lectures throughout the day will provide an immersive learning experience. Wander through the library, home to the largest collection of Inclusive Design publications and multimedia materials in the U.S.A. Entrench yourself into our rich array of resources—case studies, books, videos and more.
This event offers a unique opportunity to appreciate the state-of-the art of Inclusive Design practice across global application and accessibility, transit, culture and neurodivergent creativity.
