Submitted by eva on Fri, 09/06/2024 - 10:11

Join us for an insightful webinar featuring Jesse Klimitz of BDP's Inclusive Design Practice, Human Space. Discover Jesse's journey into inclusive design and the origins of inclusive design at BDP. Learn how BDP's inclusive design practice was established and grew into a global service. Explore the challenges of operating worldwide and see real-world case studies. Gain practical insights into implementing inclusive design beyond theory, creating environments that are equitable and accessible for all.

This event will:

  • Explore the model of a global architectural firm with an internal inclusive design consultant
  • Identify the British and Canadian perspectives on inclusive design
  • Investigate the design strategies to tailor design solutions for people with physical, sensory, cognitive and non-apparent disabilities
  • Explain the points along the design development process at which inclusive design needs to intersect for review and guidance

This course offers two (2) AIA CES credits.

IHCD’s Executive Director, Valerie Fletcher, will moderate the session with time for live questions and answers to follow.
